Mint Makes My Personal Budgeting Hands Free, Happy

I'm a personal budget nerd.

I regularly check my online Bank of America account, keep Excel spreadsheets tracking all kinds of various things and use personal budget software to track and record all my receipts, payments and expenses.

  • This mint is pretty slick!

    I think I am the opposite of you in that (up till this point) I have dreaded personal budgeting. I haven't really even used any software whatsoever for budgeting but I can't imagine a tool simpler and nicer to look at than mint.

    I was wondering how mint makes money for offering such a service for free so I googled it. Turns out it's through referral money from the special offers they suggest. Sounds like a win-win for mint and those using mint.
  • Yeah, Mint is very legit. I only have to re-categorize an expense every now and than.

    This month I'm spending way over my usual in the gas category. :(
