How To Watch Live Streaming NBA Games Online

I've been trying to watch live streaming NBA games online for a while now. Yesterday, I posted that ESPN360 won't let me watch their live streaming NBA games since my Internet provider Comcast won't pay ESPN to let its customers access the site.

I was able to watch the games on the league pass up until yesterday, now when i go to watch a game it's asking for a service provider and account number. can some tell me if there is a problem with the site or have they changed their access to online games to paid members only?

Tina, I just tried logging in to League Pass and they asked for my service provider and account number, too. I entered my service provider Comcast and proceeded to enter the account number that comes on my monthly bill... but I couldn't log-in.

Do you have Comcast, too?

Maybe Comcast stopped paying ESPN so we could access the content. ESPN makes service providers pay them to access online games.

I dont have comcast as i live in ireland, ive been able to watch the games every night on league pass this season up until yesterday.

I have never been asked for an account number before, the games just played straight away. Being logged into nba.com was sufficient enough to view the games.

NBA.com makes US service providers pay them so their subscribers can watch games on NBA.com or ESPN360. Looks like they might have extended that interesting business model to Ireland as well.

Who provides your Internet service at home? Comcast delivers my high-speed Internet.

Eircom is my ISP. As I dont live in the US I can't avail of the leage pass even if i was willing to pay for it. A friend of mine here could never access the games, he kept getting asked for his account number etc, but i never had that trouble.

I'll keep trying and see what the story is.

Hey guys! I also have the same experience with Tina. I never had a problem with the League Pass up until Feb 28 or 29. Maybe NBA just discovered that there was a bug with League Pass and they decided to fix it. Bummer!

I live here in the Philippines. PLDT is my ISP. League Pass doesn't work anymore. Try p2p...look for sopcast, tvu, those kinds of things. You can watch the games there.

Same here, I was able to watch NBA league Pass games online, just loged in nba.com. But a week or so ago it just stopped. I am from Lithuania. I had the same problem few months ago, but it was back on after a day or two, so maybe it's temporary this time too. I hope...

Currently, I still can't access NBA League Pass Broadband games and my ISP Comcast pays so that I can. I have no idea what is going on and their is no explanation on the site or in the news.

They must be working on something new.

OT. Also, I can't watch new video exclusives (deleted scenes, recap, etc.) of the celebrity apprentice on the http://www.nbc.com/The_Celebrity_Apprentice/ thoug I was able before. Now it says "The clip you selected isn't available from your location". Maybe it's just a coinsidence that it stopped at the same time.

I cant watch any games. It says The page “NBA Media Player” has content of MIME type “application/x-mplayer2”. Because you don’t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type, this content can’t be displayed. what do i have to do now.

trevor, hmmmm I'm not really savvy with technical tech matters but I'm guessing that you're using a Mac and the site is using a Windows Media Player for the games. This is probably more a problem on their side than yours.

Are you using Internet Explorer for Macs? If so, I would download the newest Internet Explorer version.

The NBA.com League Pass Broadband isn't available here in India. It's a real pain because ESPN and their local partner Star Sports have in recent years taken to showing games from only one Conference in the postseason (in addition to only limited coverage of the regular season). I'm hunting for illegal streaming options now...

I HAVE THE ANSWER, SOPCAST. I am watching the ROCKETS VS LAKERS. ITS EZ, Download SOPCAST I BELIEVE AT WWW.SOPCAST.COM, INSTALL, AND BEGIN ENJOYING. YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO FIND THE GAME YOU WANT BUT ITS GREAT FOR VIEWING GAMES ON NATIONAL T.V, EX. SUPERBOWL, PLAYOFFS. ETC. IM ELATED BECAUSE IVE BEEN TRYING TO DO THIS FOR YEARS. YAY!
